With nearly two decades of experience in investment management and real estate, Brendon C. Sullivan has established himself as a trailblazer in the sector. Since 2006, he’s been at the forefront of Berkshire Residential Investments, Boston, overseeing two separate account funds with a gross asset value of $1.8 billion. Under his stewardship as the Senior Vice President of Portfolio Management, the funds are currently surpassing their proforma gross level IRR by an impressive 500+ basis points.

Brendon’s portfolio strategies, enriched with his insights, cater to high-profile clients, including a significant Canadian pension fund. Adept in forming comprehensive portfolio and property-level business plans, he has an innate capability to drive critical capital market decisions ranging from acquisitions to recapitalization.

Furthermore, as the Senior Vice President of Acquisitions, Brendon manifested his prowess in sourcing by successfully closing over $2 billion in multifamily rental transactions, predominantly across the east coast. His leadership qualities shine through as he helms a team of four dedicated investment professionals.

Before ascending the ranks at Berkshire, Brendon harnessed his analytical skills at Boston Capital, where he streamlined the construction and lease up reporting systems. His notable achievements include a 30% spike in occupancy at a historically challenging property and ensuring developers’ equity receipts were timely and efficient.

Earlier in his career at Putnam Investments, Brendon oversaw the settlements of a $200 billion in mortgage pool settlements, lead a pivotal $600 million conversion from Deutsche Bank to State Street, and was recognized twice for his unmatched dedication and brilliance, bagging the group MVP award for employee excellence in 2002 and 2003.
