JUAN NAVARRO

Mr. Navarro has spent over 35 years in high technology businesses and has held various executive leadership roles in both government contractor enterprises and consumer operations across the US and internationally. 

Most recently Mr. Navarro was the CEO of HDT, a $400M Expeditionary, Power,  Robotics and Missel Transport Company where he led a restructuring effort. Prior to joining HDT, Mr. Navarro was the CEO of Domo Tactical Communications (DTC) a  Private Equity (Marlin) backed technology firm specializing in communications and secure surveillance products for DoD and Law Enforcement Agencies. During his tenure Mr. Navarro realigned DTC to focus on key programs of record in DoD, US and international Law Enforcement markets achieving success in capturing several large opportunities in those sectors; while positioning the company to expand it worldwide operations. Mr. Navarro successfully guided the sale of DTC in May of 2021. 

Prior to DTC, Mr. Navarro was the President of Chemring Group North America, and also Chemring Sensors and Electronics Systems (CSES). Chemring NA is a $1B US  company with a diverse portfolio of military products that range from aircraft countermeasures, specialized munitions, to electronic sensors that protect troops and vehicles from improvised explosive devices (IED), and chemical/biological threats and signals interference. Mr. Navarro sold NIITEK a Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) company, to Chemring which became part of CSES. Mr. Navarro led CSES where he was responsible for developing and implementing the strategy to expand Chemring’s global footprint in Electronic Warfare, CBRN, GPR and specialized counter-IED detection sensors. For his work in supporting the counter-ied mission, the US Army  Corp of Engineers awarded Mr. Navarro the de Fleury Bronze Medal. 

Before NIITEK, Mr. Navarro held several senior management positions at SER  Solutions (Vista Private Equity Company), concluding as the CEO responsible for its ultimate divestiture. SER developed software and hardware for image processing,  search engines and predictive dialers. His various roles at SER included integration of acquisitions, operations, and execution of SER’s day-to-day business including  Software development, Global Sales Operations, Manufacturing and Purchasing,  Customer Advocacy, and Worldwide Marketing. 

Mr. Navarro also held senior management positions at the Xerox Corporation where he was responsible for Systems Solutions and Professional Services. 

Mr. Navarro earned his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of  Maryland. He is a US Air Force veteran.
